HXXKXX Cafe at Katong SUX
Just now I met Jason for dinner, He suggested that we go to Pot Luck at Siglap to try the claypot rice but by the time we reach Siglap its already 9:30pm and Pot Luck is replaced by Claypot by the way. I suggested that we go Hxxkxx Cafe for dinner instead.
I ordered Pork and Chicken chop rice with garlic sauce and Jason ordered Claypot rice with abalone mushroom and scallop. My order came first and I started eating first. I ate about 0.5 the bowl then the claypot rice came. Please refer to the above ingredient for the claypot rice. Abalone mushroom and scallop but you know what they gave? They gave normal mushroom and clams. Besides haaving to wait so long for the food, they cheat us on the indgredient and the rice cost $11.80! I might as well go eat the ba chok mee beside it. So much cheaper. We complained to the waitress and she went to check 2 times they kept insisting that those mushroom and clams that they gave us are abalone mushroom and scallop (think we stupid lo). Fine! We have no choice but to eat la.
After that we went to the counter to foot the bill, I demand to see the Manager. WTH! The cashier told me that the Manager is not on duty today so there is only the junior staff left to tend the whole cafe. WTH! First time I see no Duty Manager around. Even MacDonald's, Sakae Sushi, KFC, etc, will have at least one Duty Manager on duty in a SHIFT lo. Wat is this man! After paying the bill I told the cashier that I will NEVER visit the cafe AGAIN!
Jen,Jo,Perch,Yuki and Soph : if next time you all go HXXX KXXX Cafe ah, I will either sit inside and not order anything or I will eat at the Bak Chok Mee stall and wait for you all.

Hahha! Your expectations too high ah! Anyway it depends on the dish la. I always go der eat desserts and siew mais. The drinks are good and the finger food but the main courses are soso. You must know what to order and the siew mai realli rocks la!!!

wahhhh mei ar, i can feel ur 'fire' from my laptop screen lolz. So sacry sia u.. Erm act i seldom go there ler cos waitin time super long de, but their desserts not bad though. U can try the wangjiao hk cafe at siglap, over there not bad, gd service too! don be angry liao ahaha next time bring u there ;)
