My updates

Weather is insanely hot. Woke up early wee morning to update my passport picture and "extend" but turned out I have to pay SG$70 to renew the new biometric one. *Hmz* Jojo wanted me to accompany her to sch at 1230 but turned out she was sleeping so I ended up rotting in the library reading "The Undomestic Goddess" which is super funny where a successful lawyer made a small mistake and somehow ended up being a housekeeper and she doesn't know any housework. Hmz. Sounds familiar.

So this week, I baked, I cooked. Sounds like a crash course in domestic work.

Baked. Attempted to bake soft chewy cookies with Yuki. Somehow due to a ingredients mixed up, it ended up being cakies.

Definition of cakes: Cannot decide whether it is a cookie or cake so it becomes cakies.

A little bit burnt. These were the first 3 batches. Somehow it got better towards the end but still a far cry from chewy like subway. Hmz.

Cooked Creamy Spaghetti on Tues. Learnt from Val and Gabby and must say, it is hard work. Baking and cooking really = hard work. But end result of eating is nice. Love the mushroom soup. One day must cook for you guys. (Jo ate the spaghetti and soup eh and she said it's nice so my cooking is edible eh!) Thanks to Val and Gabby for teaching and Yuki for the baking lessons. Lol.

So, guess this week is still quite well spent.
