Haha. Jo, now you're not alone. Can see you really self entertained a lot through this week. Wee. Le Tea!
Day One: Flight to Taipei
Wah. Taiwan now is really hot. We almost died and got fried under the hot sun.

Took Jetstar to Taipei and here's our hotel room. Me and Yuki shared a room while Soph and Perch took another room. Pretty budget and cosy but I like it. Look at the curtains in our room. Do not be deceived, there isn't any window in the room. Lol. So it looks like that in the day and night.Stayed in TS Hotel, 5 mins walk from Xi Men Ding.

Ate Our first dinner in Taipei at Tamago Ya. Jo sure like this place. Egg restaurant. Read it from the net so going there and eat is really fantastic. Taipei's service crew is friendly.

Perch pic was in another cam I think. Us with our yummy food. Love the egg, very milky taste.

Yuki's ice cream. Yum Yum.

Closer look at my desert. Graph sundae.
Then, that's basically our first night. We walked around XMD and stock up our mini fridge with Le Tea, C.C Lemon and pudding. (CC. Lemon, Yea! CC. Lemon,Yea!) Love the taiwan TV. So many channels to watch.
Day 2: We went Zhongxiao Dunhua/XMD/Danshui
Didn't know what to do in the morning so we headed off to Zhongxiao Dunhua. The underground mall was still close and pretty boring. Taipei's MTR is so accessible. Bought a easy card to travel around and we're all amazed by their systematic order. They all stand at the right side of the escalator and queue in a line for the trains unlike typical Singaporeans who run. (*Bleah*)
Somehow we ended up in this book store, EsLite and we sat around lookin at maps to hunt for places to go to and eat. Found a good place called 牛爸爸牛肉面 and we ended up walking through streets finding it. Taiwanese beef taste great. Super tender and fresh.

牛肉面 taiwanese style.

Pig Cow with her noodles.

Pig Cow with Cow.

Perch with her noodles. She ordered something different.

Waiting for the train to go to Taipei 101 since we had time to kill.

Yay! A picture. It was really windy at that moment. Thought gonna have Typhoon. There was a free shuttle bus but we all really toot, walked all the way there.

We saw TMM here. NYNY a shopping place opposite Taipei 101. Really boring since it's departmental store stuff. Then, it got really windy and the weather looks like it was turning bad so we decided to head back to our hotel at Ximen to rest a while. Walking kills.
We went back to our hotel to rest.

Was bored again in the train. Look at our pretty shoes.

In the train.

Went XMD to drink bubble tea. Funny Fish was the store's name. But no one seems to remember the name. Soph calls it Fishy Affair, Yuki calls it Happy Fish.

Big Big milk tea. Authentic stuff. Taste great.

It's a swing swing restaurant. Love the swing seats but it makes Perch dizzy.
Went to Danshui at night. Visited Fisherman's wharf for the sunset but it was a cloudy day. *Sighs* O yeah, before that, Perch went down to Xiao Zhu's shop Stage or whatever the name is. Like half the nice stuff was sold out. There was this nike shoes exhibit at the bottom level of his shop. Pretty cool since most were limited edition stuff.

Fisherman's Wharf in the evening. This place is really good for their sunset and enjoying the scenic view of the sky.

Stupid wind blew my hair in a mess. Sky is really a pretty shade of blue. We were on the famous Lover's Bridge.

A plane flying through the night sky.

Night view of the bridge and Yuki. The stupid bridge finally lighted up. We were all so hungry then.

Bye bye Fisherman's wharf. Check out the moon and the star.

Danshui Laojie where we had our dinner. Sell loads of food and clothes.

Perch and Yuki at the store. Waiting for our food.

Our first 何仔煎. Sauce looks sickly, taste alright. By the end of our trip, we tatsed 3 of these and we felt so sick of it. No more Or wa Jian for us.
After dinner, headed off to shop where we got some cheap clothes. NT 290 for everything in the store. Wanted to get some for you Jo but the size looks big so didn't buy it for you.
Overall, first 2 nights was great fun. Have loads of funny stuff to share too but shall let the others, especially Soph to share her experiences. (hohoho)
To be continued.....
