at 21 my life is really taking a turn

Here comes 'cinderella' to a cocktail party. well, it was my firrrrrst so i didnt know what to expect. But yea, it was NOT fun. on the other hand... what an experience!! :) One can only dream and think of how it would be like to be at a function held at CHIJMES' cathedral. OKAY, probably only me in the past wishing that i could be a part of one such party. Well, now i know! The price to pay to get in there was not cheap either. From being ripped off at some hair salon to spending on a luxury bag. I used to think that it was all so glamorous to be decked out in a corporate suit or evening dress, donning an LV/ Gucci bag, speaking with that oh so sophisticated manner. Now, i realised that this could be just a part of your job! As well as part of your so called social life.

And above all, no matter how well you dress, its how you portray yourself to others and who you really are in the inside that's important. That is something i finally experienced and have a better understanding. When all is stripped away... what's left? The core is it..

After my long story, up there, i suppose you must be wondering what am i talking about? hahaah.. I was invited as a corporate client to a hotel group's function at CHIJMES. I tried to talk... and i did, introduced myself, blah blah AND stood in my high heels for 3 hours. fantastic...

I'm so blessed to have one of our dear mashimaro yuki help me with make up and dress me up with the final touches.. if not i'd have looked more plain. though i woke her up in the middle of her squid dream she willingly helped me here. HAHA THAnks loads!

What i did down there mainly was stood around, having say hi and nice to meet you... plus some lines in between. Overall, seriously, though there were two or three lady's dressing that caught my eye, most were rather 'normal' black coloured work clothes and a few in denim. tata.. if you know what im gona say.... sporeans. hahaha
