I shared the room with a colleague. I mean, if one person feels something and the other person doesnt, it may not be true. However, both of us had similar experiences! The first night we arrived, upon checking in, we went up to our room. The corridor was rather dim and carpet was dirty! We both had that not very good feeling as we walked on. As I opened the door to the room, we exclaimed: It stinks! She hurriedly opened the windows to air the room.
Anyway, went out for dinner and came back in... prepared to sleep and all.. The thing is, i tried closing my eyes to sleep the whole night, but i couldnt! I had very little sleep by morning and it was time to wake up. Everytime i was about to fall asleep, I was woken up! This happened several times throughout the night and what made things worse was this next door neighbour who was praying very loudly. I later found out from our local colleague that the walls of this hotel were not sound proof. Gosh! My colleague too, caught very little sleep. Imagine me walking round and having to work - like a zombie!
That was night no.1 ~ countdown 2 nights to return home!
Night no.2
Same difficulties sleeping, and in the morning my colleague told me that I screamed in the middle of the night. I was definitely disturbed once again. She also had a strange experience, she siad that she was mysteriously woken up by something. That's creepy......
Actually, our local colleagues in the office had also worked at this same hotel for a number of years before. They did share with us some stories about the hotel. it isssss... haunted!
Night no.3 - like what pampered S'poreans do, they check out of the hotel and wont stay there for another night! hehehe.
As you can see from the picture, it just looks like a very cheapo hotel room.
Other than the experience with the room, we shopped around every night and I have really been eating alot! i definitely put on weight alr. Back to square one. hmm..
