spiderweb no more

Dear Maros

consider this a letter to all. For we are all busy with our own lives and rarely have time for updates except during our gang meetings over meals, I shall take this chance to talk about my life recently on the web. HAHA

Isnt it rare that im at home on a Friday night? Usually this wild kid would be out somewhere on the streets still at least midnight. Its very rare for me to stay at home on a friday night. No date, no dinner meeting. I'm happy though! Thinking of hitting my sack soon!

Particularly tired this week and today I had to report for work at 630am at Marriott hotel. Due to this accounting forum that starts at 930am. Most of my colleagues are involved and even the director was there at 630am... at least, earlier than me. I had a guess that most would reach on time. I wanted to break the norm and reach later. Indeed I did because
1. I found out from a colleague that last year when the same event was held, they were told to report at 6am and wait around till 7ish when breakfast was served.
2. I decided that its so ridiculously early, so I'd leave my house at 620am.
3. A small part of me isnt bothered because I've resigned. What can they do to me ?

This was the outcome:
1. I reached at 7am
2. I was the 2nd latest
3. We waited and gossip till 730am when breakfast was served.

Are our locals simply law followers? I think its fun to break out of the norm once in a while. Just wanted to see what these bosses can say about me being so late.

O well, my last day ~ 8 Sept. I realised that work life is so much different. In a sense that, you'd never know when new opportunities arise and you'd switch jobs no matter how much you plan to do in a job. You'd also never know when you'll meet your life partner. More uncertainties but all going well.

Take care maros!
