One Busy Saturday!

We are indeed a grp of best friends man! One sat, got 3 different events going on at the same time.

Anyway what a pity i'm not a very pictorial kinda person and have no digi cam on hand, i can't post up any nice photos about the things that went on for me on sat. BUT, never mind.....i shall train u all to use ur imagination. haha! The first thing that happened on sat morning was the praise and worship that we had to play for a wedding. Imagine a church...with an old-fashion (almost catholic looking), proper and peaceful interior. On the side of the stage, that's where the band was. My drums is light brown. After the whole ceremony was over, we proceeded for some finger food and we were given 2 red packet each from the groom's parents. By the way, was half blind through out 'cus i lost one side of my contact lens.

Got home with a friend, and straight away we started making sushi for another friend's 21st b'day party. She made the rolls and helped around here and there while i did the rest of the other kinds of sushi and cha soba. Thank God for her sweet and enjoyable company. Was really irritated towards the end of the making because of alll the phone calls, the lack of trays/containers, and the little amount of time left.
In conclusion:
Quantity= around 55++
Time taken= close to 5 hrs
Quality/Comments= people said the rice was fantastic, some said the entire thing looks gd almost like the commercial ones, others said it tastes really good.
Personal Feelings= really happy of course that people enjoyed what i made. But most importantly, really glad that i could be involved and could contribute at least something to that friend's b'day preparation.

Pam and her other half came to pick me us up.....we looked like caterers, carrying so many trays/plates/containers and the b'day cake. Got to her party smelling like a bottle of vinegar and soyu...i felt like a walking sushi myself.Anyway, only managed to stay half way for her party 'cus i had another b'day dinner going on concurrently and that was my aunt's.

At around 11+ pm, the entire saturday finally ended for me in peace. I should really consider getting a personal digi cam....nvm shall go think about it.

Oh ya, jen ur b'day dinner right can put it on the 11th (sat) or 10th (fri night)? On the 12th i've got another friend's 21st b'day. Her party is a bohemian theme....i really should start looking out for some net/cloth hair accessories and perhaps a nicer looking bohemian-style skirt, top and belt. Any ideas on how i can "decorate" myself, pls feel free to advise!

I noe...my posts always so heavy with words...'xin ku' ur eyes la!
