This year's christmas celebration is gonna be different and fun! Jen and I have gone down to the yacht club yesterday to confirm/book our room!
Details are as follows:
Venue: SAF (Changi) Yacht Club
Date: 23rd Dec'09 ( Wed)
Time: Check-in by 2pm (23rd,Wed)
Check-out by 12pm (24th, Thurs)
Maros confirm staying over: Jo,Mei,Jen,Soph,Yuki
Meet at Tanah Merah MRT Station (Exit B) by 1.30pm (timing to be confirmed)....we'll be taking the shuttle bus in. Cannot be late...if not we would have to wait for the next shuttle bus, which will only come in another hour's time.
I actually though of bringing our lunch in. Then after we've settled down in the room, we will have a lunch picnic downstairs at the jetty area (by the sea)...but...by the time we prepare and start to eat, it would be quite late for lunch already. What's more, in the next few hrs we're gonna have dinner again. So just a suggestion, shall we have lunch together at my house first, then after that we make our way down together? Or you still wanna have late lunch at the yacht club and hopefully pple won't chase us away... if not we've got to eat in our room :(

Regarding the duties, here's how we're going to split them:
Soph-
- I'm not able to borrow the projector, so maybe you see if you can borrow from your side?If cannot it's ok.
- Get a honey baked ham and log cake...if it's not convenient, no worries...we will get it.
- On that day, you get to choose which team u wanna join/help out...either the JM Team or the YJ Team ;)
- Get drinks (and also an extra 2 big bottles of mineral water)
- Make potato salad
- Order a box of pizza (not so big..from anywhere also can)
- Bring 3 boxes of tissue paper (for our room also).
- Picnic mat (big enough for 5 at least)
- *if Soph can borrow the projector you may want to bring your Wii? Or if u all don't mind we can just settle for the 21-inch TV in our room.
- Prepare sushi rice & ingredients.
- Bring wasabi/soyu/chopsticks/paper plates
- Other logistics for our program ;D
Bring along your swimsuit/tankini/bikini/shorts&shirt...we will be going for an early evening dip.
For dinner, we will have to settle at the restaurant there. It's chinese/seafood cuisine. I know since it's christmas, we will be missing our log cake and ham...but we can always eat them in the room while we play Wii or something.
Last but not least, be prepared to sleep late...hahaha! We've got too much to play but too little time ;D! Though it's only a very short overnight event, lets have loads of fun and create as many wonderful/spastic memories as possible!
