Day Three: Miniature Museum/P.S Bubu/Beitou/YMS/Miramar Ferris Wheel/Shilin NM
Miniature Museum, where everything was miniatured in size. Pretty cute place. There was a star wars exhibit and small model light thing of everything. From the historical places, to the roman empires and the childhood fairy tales.

So pretty. No wonder we all flunk our art. Saw this temple like thing there and my art exhibit back then was like the ruins of it. Wonder if I could still donate it to the museum and get an exhibit there for myself. Hehe.
So proud of ourselves, we managed to get to the museum by train and bus. Then, we went to P.S Bubu for lunch where it was a car theme restaurant as mentioned by Soph. She didn't mention that the food there was pretty gross or maybe I was unlucky to order the wrong item. I ate this green spaghetti thing which was so gross looking and tasted like crap. *Bleah* Post up picture another time.
Under the hot summer, we decided to go for hot spring. Those 3 spent the whole night researching for hot spring destinations while I was snoring away. Went to Beitou by cab, the uncle dropped us at some ulu peak of the mountain where the hot spring sucks. As Soph mentioned, we visited this haunted looking hot spring place.
I could sum up that place in a line.
That tub looks like we were in Dark Water, the Japanese horror film!
I wish we could take a picture of that. It was so eerie, that whole place, building and even the lady. Not a single soul was soaking there. Bah!
So we hiked up Yang ming Shan in search of better hot spring places but the whole plan failed cos all the good places were up in the mountains and we decided the weather was too hot and we must be pure mad but anyway some kind lady stopped her bus so we managed to get up to YMS to see the dead flowers and dried land. What a sight.
Went off to Miramar Entertainment Park for our ferris wheel ride. Walked around Carrefour in the area and man!! There was like Meiji Green Tea Ice Cream. Wished we could bring it back to Singapore. I absolutely adore Carrefour over there. The blended caramel machiato is so cheap, about SG$1+. Sighs!
Humongous Ferris wheel on the roof of the shopping mall. It's like our Singapore big fan. Twice better with better sceneries.
Could see Taipei 101 from the Ferris Wheel. Perch backed out the ride cos she hates Ferris wheels.
It changes color. Pretty pretty. Paid about NT$150 or was it NT$100.

Saw this really cute maltese at Shilin NM. Xiao Bu Dian. 小不点 Ahhh! Her mom is just as small and cute.
Kawaii! O yea, look at the red bags behind. All our food. Perch bought a lot of food back. Probably the whole of Taiwan.
Shilin NM was great. We went back there on Thurs night too and the sausages and chicken is superb! Tian bu La is fantastic. Post up pics in another entry.
Day Four: Leofu Village Theme Park/Wu Fen Pu
On our way to Leofu Theme Park in the bus. Very rural area on our way there. We sat the water rides, and some minor rides that were quite fun. Soph and Perch were the dare devil that took the more thrilling rides. Like the one from the 5566 show where they sat this coaster thing that zooms all the way up and back down.
They were somewhere up there.
You see.. It goes further up. OMG.
We all sat this water ride where it goes down twice. One a lower slope, the other a higher one. Didn't expect a second one coming but this was shiok.
Soph and Perch took this viking which they say was very boring.
Me and Perch took this really fun ride which is like a big wheel that goes 360 degrees and you hang on air. Quite fun. Other Pics are with Yuki.
Overall, some rides were pretty lame like the magic carpet but it was a fun day.
The weather got so hot we bought mini fans. Yuki with her no mouth cat fan.
Soph was taking shots of herself and us. We were rotting under the shade to wait for this really lame 3d Aladdin show.
Perch was talking on the phone. We got bored and self entertained.
Yuki poke fun at the Leofu monkey mascot and he ignored her while we wanted to take a group pic. Lol! Picture's with her.
Incident: We got lost again
After Leofu, we wanted to get back to the train stop at Jing An but somehow we all missed the stop. Bus ride was supposed to be 1 hr+ but ended up 2 hrs, we were still on the bus then we realized something was wrong. Lol. Managed to ask some passenger in the bus and we alighted a lot further that Jing An but it was still near to our next destination - Wu Fen Pu a whole sale market.
One word to describe the place - Big and boring. Didn't like the clothes there. Too many layering. Think it was over there, we were all super grouchy and snappy cos we didn't eat our lunch and didn't have our dinner. Was trying to find this night market there but couldn't find it so we had like 4 black faces. Managed to settle dinner at some crappy place. Extremely tiring day cos the previous day, we got lost in Beitou and was hiking up some mountain and then we were walking a lot til we ached all over.
Ok, my camera died that day so no more pictures to post til the next day. Anyway, we took 小黄 back because 4 of us were breaking. Super tired after 3 days there. No wonder Taiwanese girls stay so slim. They must have walked the entire Taipei.
